ChatGPT Affiliate Program
No public programOpenAI's AI assistant has no affiliate program; OpenAI's partner scheme is a tiered network for consultancies and integrators, not publishers.
Quick answer
No. OpenAI has no affiliate program for ChatGPT, and none of its pages offers commission to publishers or creators. Its partner scheme, the OpenAI Partner Network, is for consultancies and integrators that build, co-sell and deliver AI solutions, and ChatGPT's referral campaigns reward users with extra usage, not cash.
No affiliate program. OpenAI's only partner program is the OpenAI Partner Network (announced 14 June 2026) for consultancies, systems integrators and technology firms; consumer referral offers give promo codes or usage increases, not commission (checked 17 Oct 2026).

About ChatGPT
ChatGPT is OpenAI's AI assistant, sold to individuals on Go, Plus and Pro plans and to companies on Business and Enterprise plans. OpenAI does not run an affiliate program for it. No OpenAI page we could read describes one, and a search of the OpenAI Help Center for "affiliate" returns articles on ChatGPT Ads, partner integrations and promotional codes, but nothing about paying publishers for sign-ups. What OpenAI does run is the OpenAI Partner Network, announced on 14 June 2026. It is a business program for firms that build, co-sell and deliver AI solutions, launched with systems integrators, management consultancies, technology and data companies, and graded into Select, Advanced and Elite tiers that each set a high bar for sales performance, technical capability and deployment experience. On the consumer side, ChatGPT Plus promo codes are handed out by OpenAI's partners and cannot be exchanged for cash, and a ChatGPT Free referral campaign in India, Indonesia and Mexico rewarded referrers with temporary usage-limit increases rather than money.

Frequently asked questions
Does ChatGPT have an affiliate program?
No. OpenAI does not pay commission for ChatGPT sign-ups, and searching its Help Center for "affiliate" turns up ads, partner and promo-code articles rather than any affiliate terms.
Is the OpenAI Partner Network an affiliate program?
No. OpenAI describes it as a program for partners to build, sell and deliver AI solutions, launched in June 2026 with consultancies, systems integrators and technology firms. Partners move through Select, Advanced and Elite tiers based on sales, technical and deployment track record, not link clicks.
Can I earn anything by referring friends to ChatGPT?
Not money. OpenAI's ChatGPT Free referral campaign gave selected users in India, Indonesia and Mexico temporary usage-limit increases for referrals between 18 August and 17 September 2026, and Plus promo codes are issued by partners and are not valid for cash.
What would a referred ChatGPT customer pay?
ChatGPT's pricing page lists Go at $8 a month and Plus at $20 a month, with a free plan at $0, but no part of those fees is shared with referrers.
